The subject of cropcircles is hard to explore without addressing the controversy that comes with the topic. The mere mentioning of the word ‘cropcircle’ will oftentimes immediately result in a response of ridicule, disbelief and even plain denial. Because there is so much that we don’t know for sure about them – their origin, their meaning, and most of all; their creation – the tendency is to dismiss their existence all together. A real travesty, because if we would bypass everything we DON’T know and understand about them, and focus on what we DO know … we could allow their beauty, their complexity, and their language to deeply touch us.
Cropcircles are found all over the world, like in the USA, Africa, Canada, Australia, Japan, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, and Germany, but by far they are predominantly found in the United Kingdom. Regardless where they appear, there seems to be an unmistakable correlation between ancient and sacred sites, and cropcircles. Perhaps the fact that many of these sites were built in locations that are believed to hold ‘special’ earth energy – like Ley Lines and underground aquifers – explains why cropcircles appear there, or close to it. In the UK, the ancient stone circles at Avebury and Stonehenge in Wiltshire, are clear focus locations for the cropcircles.
Cropcircles vary in size, from a few feet to over a thousand feet across. In the UK the average size of a cropcircle is around 200 feet. Most of them appear overnight, in a matter hours, completely perfect, with no mistakes. Their intricate design demonstrates an undeniable fundamental knowledge of (sacred) geometry as well as profound creativity and intelligence. That, combined with the fact that they are created in the dark and stretch out over hundreds of feet in diameter, deserves our attention at the least.
CropCirCle and Activations Art
The first time I saw a photo of a cropcircle (in the early 90’s), I felt an instant jolt of joy and recognition. By the time my mind caught up with me, I felt confused over the undeniable excitement that I experienced. Like many, I went down the path of trying to approach it from a linear perspective, which automatically turned into a dead end street. There simply were no logical or linear explanations that were acceptable in my current believe system at the time that I was brought up with.
Luckily I was born with a very flexible and adaptable mind, which allowed me to adjust my perspective to fit my deep sense of fulfillment that I found looking at the cropcircle designs. I felt inspired and strangely connected. It was as if they were ‘talking’ to me … and I understood what they were communicating. I had no doubt that cropcircles were expressions of a language … a language that was not taught in any school I knew of …
It took me over two decades to fully merge my (intrinsic) understanding and knowledge of sacred geometry and cropcircles with my creative abilities, and not only build my life and reality around this union, but also make it my life’s work to help shift the collective consciousness, question and shift existing paradigms, and support the (re)birth of the language of our soul.
